Mobile Developer Resources
Since the launch of the California Mobile program in 2009, the Department of Technology has continued to innovate and enhance the tools and resources available to the state for mobile development. The California Mobile initiative is not just the development and hosting of mobile apps within the California Mobile Gallery, but rather provides an efficient and sustainable mobile solution for the state. This includes the continuous enhancement of the enterprise Developer Resources, Training, and the Mobile Template.
With nearly 35% of visits to Ca.Gov websites from a smartphone or tablet California Mobile is laying the foundation for future smart device accessibility with advanced device compatibility, location-aware services, and GIS features. The mobile template has been adopted by over 50 state agencies and departments and we continue to collaborate and serve as a leader with our agencies and departments to bring new mobile resources to the State of California.
