Geocaching in California
Geocaching is a popular treasure hunting game in which participants use GPS (Global Positioning System) receivers to hide and seek for geocache containers around the world. This techno-treasure hunt includes over 750,000 caches worldwide, including nearly 63,000 caches in California. Caches are everywhere, including nearly 9,000 caches within 50 miles of the Golden Gate Bridge. Anyone with a GPS device can play.
