What is an electronic notice?
When DMV customers create a secure DMV online account, they can opt in to receive driver's license/identification card and vehicle registration notices by email.
How often should I expect an electronic notice?
DMV will send a notice about three months before a driver's license or vehicle registration expires.  If you have more than one vehicle, you must opt-in for a paperless notice for each vehicle to receive an electronic notice for each one.
When should I sign up for electronic notices?
You may opt-in at any time to receive electronic notices. You have the option to opt-out at any time as well.
