How often should I expect an electronic notice?
The DMV will send out a notice about three months before a driver's license or vehicle registration expires.  If you have more than one vehicle, you must opt in for paperless notice for each vehicle to receive an electronic notice for each eligible vehicle.
What is an electronic notice?
When DMV customers create a secure DMV online account, they can opt in to receive driver's license/identification card and vehicle registration notices by email.
When should I sign up for electronic notices?
You may opt in at any time to receive electronic notices. You have the option to opt out at any time as well.
